LAKE LEAF CULTIVATION ANNOUNCES HIRING EVENT

Lake Leaf Cultivation will hold a career exploration and job fair for Mille Lacs Band members interested in working at the new cannabis cultivation facility tentatively set to open on September 20, 2024. On Monday, August 12, there will be three hiring sessions at 10 a.m., 2 p.m., and 7 p.m. in the convention center of Grand Casino Mille Lacs. This event will include light refreshments, training, application help, and a free Lake Leaf Cultivation shirt. Lake Leaf Cultivation is committed to preference hiring and this first hiring event will be open to Mille Lacs Band members, Band member descendants, and Band member spouses only.

Per the Band and the State of Minnesota statutes, there are some applicable licensing requirements; however, licensing and exclusion statuses at the gaming operations do not automatically disqualify an applicant. Lake Leaf Cultivation chooses to follow Minnesota state licensing requirements, so the Band can do business freely within the state without restriction. Lake Leaf Cultivation’s goal is to make sure all cannabis revenue streams are safeguarded and unhindered, so this business will grow and help the next seven generations.

Cultivation is a physically demanding job, and we are looking for hardworking, consistent, and honest individuals who can perform physically for 8 hours a day. If this is you and you are at least 21 years old, come to one of the three sessions on Monday, August 12, at Grand Casino Mille Lacs Convention Center. Please bring your government-issued identification, Mille Lacs Band identification, and social security card to the event. This is an adult-only event, thank you for not bringing children.
