Sugar Maple Crossing is well on the way to becoming a pre miere housing development in Hinckley, designed to be an affordable, high-quality housing community that supports fam ilies and fosters a strong sense of connection and well-being. It is located conveniently just blocks from Interstate 35W and a few short miles to Grand Casino Hinckley and offers the con venience of nearby shopping and entertainment. Also, within a brief 30-minute drive residents can find the beauty of some of Minnesota’s finest parks and outdoor recreation.
The units are designed as spacious 1, 2, and 3-bedroom apartments in a townhome style to ensure comfort and privacy. Each unit boasts walk-in closets, private patios or decks, and washer/dryer hookups to enhance the resident’s daily living ex perience. Residents will need to bring their own washer/dryer suited to their specific needs. Construction is of high standards featuring sturdy and insulated common walls to reduce noise transfer from one unit to the next.

There will also be a laundry area with pay machines for residents who choose to not have machines in their unit and/or for those who wish to use the convenience of washing several loads all at once. There is also an exercise room featuring state-of-the-art equipment to help support the resident’s fitness and wellness needs.
Outdoors features a large well-lit playground that will include a zipline, a family picnic area, a community garden, and access to walking trails connecting them with nature and each other.
Garages are available, and plenty of parking is also de signed for the convenience of the residents. Parking areas and the garages are all well-lit, and state-of-the-art security cam eras are strategically placed to ensure common areas, parking, and garages are covered while also ensuring the privacy of the residents.
Construction is scheduled for completion this coming spring. Qualification criteria will be available on the website in December, along with a link to join the waitlist, which opens in January 2025. Application reviews will begin in March, and the f irst phase of move-ins is scheduled to begin in June.
