In 2023. Dunkley also took fourth place in the truck com petition. Last year, he took first place in the excavator category.

The two-day event is sponsored by the Minnesota Depart ment of Transportation (MnDOT), Minnesota Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP), Minnesota Street Superintendents Association and American Public Works Association/Minneso ta Chapter. It is open to all city, county and state maintenance employees and supervisors, plus transportation and research implementation personnel.

While addressing fall and winter transportation maintenance issues, vendors were on hand to show the latest equipment and technologies at the indoor and outdoor display areas. Speakers also present the latest industry information.

The annual Snowplow Roadeo is always popular, allowing competitors to compete on a closed course. Dunkley will be invited to compete in the Western Snow and Ice Show in Love land, Colo. next September.
